A New Year's Eve Reflection and Prayer for Blessings

As we come to a close of another year, may we begin with prayer and thanksgiving unto the Most High God, the Creator of all things, the one who holds the universe in His hands, the one who created us in his image and gave us the breath of life.

Some are still challenged with hardships and unresolved issues that cannot be left behind, but my prayer for all of us in this new year is that we remember to give everything over to The Lord, thy God who is able to do the impossible.

"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." [Matthew 26:19]

None of us know what 2025 has in store for us, but by faith we must go through the days that are ahead as we are awaken to each dawning day. There are no guarantees and no matter how many plans that we make, the only one who knows for sure if these desires will be carried out, is Jesus. Even with that, we may find that these plans are altered as to the purpose that The Lord has designed for us to fulfill. I pray that before we enter into 2025, we will reflect on whatever did not go well in 2024 and do our best to avoid repeating those mishaps. Some of the barriers faced are created by our own mishandled choices; therefore, responsibility lies on us. May we learn from mistakes and keep ourselves from repeating those things which will ensnare us into avoidable traps.

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." [Galatians 5:1]

May you keep the Peace of God that surpasses all understanding in your hearts, keep your mind stayed on Jesus, remain joyful, hopeful, faithful, and prayerful in 2025. I pray that we will reconnect in the Body of Christ and grow together moving forward in Kingdom building and onward to preparing to see the Face of Jesus Christ. I leave you with some uplifting scriptures as we praise and worship Jesus in this new season with another opportunity to be strengthened in The Word of God.

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." [Isaiah 43:18-19]

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." [Galatians 6:9-10]

"...being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ..." [Philippians 1:6]

"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord2025 and Savior Jesus Christ..." [2 Peter 3:18]

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." [3 John 1:2]

May you have a Blessed, safe, and Happy New Year in 2025 that is filled with the Promises of God!
