May God's light of His Glory shine upon The Body of Christ on this Christmas Day of 2024. The celebrated date of Christmas is a reminder that Jesus was born to save us from the sinful world we live in. I pray that we will take a moment to pause and thank The Lord for His Goodness, His Love, His Grace and for His Mercy.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." [Matthew 5:16]
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." [Isaiah 9:6]
The present year of 2024 is almost over and we do not know what will happen over the remaining six days. Regardless of the unknown, use this day to spend time with loved ones, remember those who have transitioned to their Heavenly Home, and thank The Lord for those who are the children in our families. Use every opportunity to forgive, love, and make peace in your hearts; and live life abundantly.
"...forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." [Colossians 3:13-15]
"...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." [John 10:10]
Enjoy each other, laugh, share stories of old, pray together, and bless this day for the food that is upon your table. Remember to pray for those who may not have and ask The Lord to watch over them. Put on charity and the next time you come upon someone who sincerely needs a word of kindness or a sacrificial monetary blessing, do as you are led by The Holy Spirit to advance The Kingdom of God.
I send Blessings and The Love of Christ to you on this Christmas Day of December 25, 2024. Stay joyful and Rejoice Always!
"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice" [Philippians 4:4]
