The Sufficiency of Grace

Writer's picture: Apostle KindellApostle Kindell

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient to thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." [2 Corinthians 12:9 - KJV]

While praying at Church Sunday (February 16, 2025) evening and crying out to God on behalf of the world concerns and especially my concerns of what will happen to children; The Holy Spirit spoke to me and reminded me that The Lord's "Grace is sufficient." These words gave me great comfort in knowing that the "grace" was provided on the Cross already and that the victory was won.

When we examine just what "grace" is - means "unmerited favor that we do not deserve"; yet Jesus went on the cross to take our place on Calvary to be The Sacrificial Lamb of God to redeem us from sin. Jesus took the place for us in the middle position that was between two thieves to intercede on behalf of humanity knowing that many would reject him and some would revere him as The Savior.

In the present state of a national crisis that is spreading worldwide; we can clearly see that a Barabbas and murderous spirit is coming to the land - a prophetic word given to me by The Holy Spirit in July of 2024. Even in all of the chaos and uncertainties, "the sufficiency of Christ Jesus is all that we need." Jesus healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead, freed the bound from demons, and performed miracles, but that was not enough for the people at the time of the choice of who was to be released from prison during Passover: Jesus or Barabbas? We know what happened, the people chose Barabbas.

"And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas: (who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)" [Luke 23:18-19] Despite the fact that Pilate was willing to release Jesus because he found no fault in him; when he spoke to the people again; they replied: "But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him." [Luke 23:21]

"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

[Jude v. 4]

The critical plight of humanity from Genesis to Revelation gives us the evidence of what happened before us and what will and is happening in our generation. The decay of integrity and moral character is overwhelming, but somehow deemed that this should be acceptable behavior in society. We are witnessing an increase in lawlessness, greed, hate, and entitlement that is bringing humanity to another major fall. Therefore, as I look around, I see a broken system that is spreading rapidly. We are living in the last days! This is a time for more prayer and love in The Body of Christ. There is sense of urgency to stop the jealousy and backbiting because the devil thrives on the division of believers that will keep us from praying together across denomination, gender, and ethnicity.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." [Hebrews 10:23-25]

The only way the Body of Christ collectively and individually can get through the dark days is by holding onto faith, prayer, and God's Grace and Mercy. If you have read your Bible and believe every word, no one should be surprised at what is being manifested - the warnings are in the The Holy Bible. The Prophetic Books of the Bible are being fulfilled.

I pray that the true believers in Christ will not retreat. Stay on the battlefield - Rise up from a soldier to a General and lead others to spiritual freedom. I encourage you to read: The Book of Daniel; Galatians 5; 2 Timothy 1; Hebrews 10; Jude and Revelation 13. May you keep on persevering for freedom in Christ Jesus and never stop praying. God Bless you Always!
