Love of A Mother Drawn from the Water

A Mother’s Day message that was so significant of a love that was divinely possible when the daughter of Pharaoh drew baby Moses from the water. This is based on Exodus 2:1-10. She symbolically experienced the nature of the birthing process without actually giving birth. She protected him, made sure he was nursed, and paid financially for his care.

Nurturing and watching a child grow up can be felt by women who have unconditional love for children as Christ has for us. Therefore, the comfort of a Mother provides the gentleness and loving kindness that comes from The Lord. May you be encouraged today and everyday to sow the love of God into a child(ren) who are in your life.

Below is a poem that I wrote May 12, 2023 for the women in East-Side Mission Temple of God Ministries in Venton, MD. I pray that those who read this will be uplifted by God’s Grace and Mercy.

A Tribute to Women

Your strength is seen through the eyes of many

Your poise and grace light up a room when you enter

Smiling faces gleaming brightly bring the reflection of God’s Glory

Taking on tasks without being asked, caring for, and extending love to children and many others

Your reward comes down from Almighty God

Today is your day to rest and breathe in moments of peace

Shine on while living in victory by faith that never ceases

Remember that you are reflections of God and loved by Him beyond your imagination.
