A WELL SPRINGING IN A DRY SEASON


(Relevant Scriptures: Genesis 26:22-33; Exodus 16; Psalm 107:35; Revelation 7:17 and 22:1-3)


The Lord will take care of His people in the dry places of life. Despite the shrinking resources that appear to be unavailable; remember that everything belongs to The Lord. He will provide water when the brooks dry up; He will supply food when the shelves are empty; and He will open doors that were once shut. Do not concern yourselves with how situations appear to be in your health, bank accounts, employment status, nor any other issue that has caused distress. The Lord is with us just as He was with Moses leading the Israelites through the wilderness. Despite the murmurings of the people against The Lord, He still blessed them with dew upon the land where manna (bread) formed and quail covered the land for them to eat. Isaac traveled with his wife and servants through the desert until finally a spot where they could live in peace, a well sprung forth as his “Rehoboth” - “room enough. One day we will experience a place for eternity where there will be living waters...
