BE OF GOOD COURAGE: PRESS ON

Relevant Scriptures for today's message:

Psalm 27; John 14:12-21; and Philippians 3:7-16

As we face so many uncertainties each day, many emotions enter in and if you are experiencing something (i.e. crying, anger, frustration, etc.) that has not happened to you for a while; you are okay. Do not over think what is going on around you and how you may be feeling. Remember that you are human and JESUS understands every human emotion; He is our intercessor, healer, and deliverer in times of trouble. Patience is imperative while waiting for something that is needed to happen on your behalf: keep going and do not give up. For many years, I have encouraged people to add 3 P's in their lives daily and when challenges occur more is necessary: Pray, Press, and Praise while going through.

To accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR does not prevent us from having adversity. Trials, tribulations, and discomfort comes from many sides and sometimes, you may feel like everything is happening at the same time. These times come to strengthen faith and build up spiritual endurance to withstand troubled times and with JESUS, you can make it through some of the toughest of situations. When in prayer, thank JESUS for who He is, make your petition to Him, and believe that He will intervene on your behalf. Listen for an answer, continue to keep your faith in movement, and give The LORD praise despite what is going on around you. Saying The Name of JESUS and clapping your hands generate a change in the atmosphere.

We are living in the last days before JESUS' return and turmoil is to be expected, but He has left us with The Comforter and The BIBLE for instructions and to give us evidence of Him and words to bring us peace. May you have a Blessed and Healthy Week; keep the WORD OF GOD in your heart and carry it everywhere you go. Remember to encourage someone else when you are going through because everyone needs reassurance that JESUS is in control and that He is concerned about what matters to us. Nothing can separate us from Him.

I leave you with these scriptures for encouragement:

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" [Romans 8:35]

"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." [Psalm 27:14]

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

[Philippians 3:14]

Love-in-Christ,

I read this blog quite often. It is full of wisdom that enlightens me during my current trials. I keep in mind that when we are weak He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:9) and Galations 6:9 which tells us to not be weary in well-doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not!
