In our society, we are challenged with knowing what to believe or what not to believe because we are exposed to so many choices in an ongoing fast paced changing world that we are consumed by false advertisements, scams, unrealistic proposed ideas, and other tricks that satan has designed by using whatever and whomever he can to do his bidding. In this season that is coming to a close with only two months left in 2021, I pray that the light of God's Glory shines brightly upon us to expose deceptive and divisive tactics that are being used to discourage all people regardless of beliefs and values. However, the question is what will you choose when the "fiery darts" of persecution becomes more extreme: Will you choose to follow Jesus Christ if your life is threatened, or will you choose to follow the anti-christ who makes offers that sound too good not to go along - do not forget that there are things that are too good to be true and that is because they are false. With satan comes a price of bargaining with your salvation cannot be exchanged once you get marked by him.
"And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little, children, it is the last time, and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that is the last time." [I John 2:17-18]
As I look around and evaluate some of the outlandish and lawless behaviors; clearly seen for those who care to see that much of the deception in our society is blatant. Therefore, the sinful acts to disrupt and dismantle our families, our cultural and ethnic values, our framework of solid institutions that regulate our entire governmental systems, and deregulation of what is necessary to maintain continuity are coming unraveled. I pray that the scales will come off the eyes of those who have been deceived by the enemy's tactics to use subtle antics to dissuade using commonsense to understand that partaking in everything that is being offered by world systems could become harmful. To the believers in JESUS CHRIST, pray for increased knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to discern what is from our Heavenly Father and what is from an earthly foundation. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." [Galatians 6:7]
"Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house." [Matthew 5:15]
Jesus is coming soon and he is giving us warning signs of deception, but we must be willing to see the truth and not accept what we are being told; rather live by faith and not by sight. We serve a living God who never sleeps, nor slumbers; he knows all and sees all. May we be alert and stay watchful for the changes in man's laws that will satisfy those who prefer to live in darkness because they choose to be devoid of the "light of the world" - Jesus Christ who came to free all men. When he returns, all deception that is a part of a sinful world system will be eliminated and no one has to wonder about an outcome because his authority will reign over the entire world. I bring encouragement to believers in Jesus Christ to hold on to Him and do not turn away from what you know to be true. "...Take heed that no man deceive you." [Matthew 5:4]
"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it..." [Revelation 21:23-24]
