Faith Focus

As the changes in our culture grows stronger, many people are focusing on the negatives that are heard and seen. However, for the stability and sanity of a nation that has been divided, will take an overhaul of what is left. We have watched a dismantling of what this nation was founded on: THE ALMIGHTY GOD. Now our nation is at a crossroads and every believer will have to focus on their faith that they may maintain what is true as well as remaining luminating lights in the world.

May we get back to living by faith and not by sight. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “ [Hebrews 11:1] This chapter provides a summary of reminders for those who lived before us. Many of them

had to give their all, in many situations, lives were lost. Throughout The Gospels there are people who were “made whole” in healing because of their faith. Jesus told the woman who was diseased for twelve years “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.” [Matthew 9:22]. When Jesus encountered two blind men who asked him to have “mercy” on them, Jesus asked if they believed? They gave him affirmation. “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you..."[Matthew 9:29] These two men received their sight.

Faith will sustain us in these perilous and uncertain times in our country. Although with the many challenges that happen rapidly, keeping the faith for some may be difficult. I want to encourage you to find some positives daily in small encounters and focus less on the negatives and more on the positives. Stand strong in your faith and do not try to rationalize everyday challenges because the evil elements in this world has an assignment to cast doubt in the minds of believers. However, we have to concentrate on JESUS and remember to remind ourselves of how the story ends; The Book of Revelation is clear on the outcome for those who continue to stand in the last days. May you be steadfast and unmovable and remember that "Nothing is too hard for GOD."

"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." [Romans 1:17]

I leave you with some additional scriptures on faith to strengthen you throughout the week and during days when you need an extra boost to keep going: Matthew 17:20-21; Mark 11:22-24; Luke 22:32; Acts 3 (all); Acts 6:7-15; Acts 14:8-10; Romans 4(all); Galatians 3(all); Galatians 5(all); Ephesians 2(all); Ephesians 6(all); Hebrews 10:22-25; James 5(all); I Peter 5(all); I John 5:1-6; Jude; Revelation 2:10.

May you have a Blessed week filled with the promises of JESUS CHRIST by faith that will sustain you in every situation that you encounter. Love-in-Christ, Apostle Joni A. Kindell
