As we journey together in a recap of earlier today (February 13, 2022) when our attempts to stream live had a few interruptions; I wanted to provide an overview and add to as necessary. The love we give should be sincere and from the heart and may we learn to love each other without conditions, but rather offer the same grace that The LORD has given us. When we are in love with JESUS, everything else becomes easier through our living as we strive to show love in a world that may not give us the love in return.
Exodus 20:6 "But I lavish my love on those who love me and obey my commands even for a thousand generations." This scripture should get our attention and a reflection of if we are in touch with our first love and that is of GOD! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." [John 3:16] There is and never will be a greater love found anywhere.
All of the money spent on valentine's day does not compensate for truly loving someone because love should be given not just on special occasions, but in the good and not so good times in relationships. Showing love to everyone at all times is certainly not easy, however, the love of Jesus Christ teaches us how we should love. "...But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and on the unjust, too. [Matthew 5:44-45 - N.L.T.] I Corinthians 13 provides Apostle Paul's teaching on love and what it is not - in summary, the gifts of prophecy and faith are no good without love. "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." [I Corinthians 13:4-7 - N.L.T.]
God is our ultimate gift and he continues to give us his overwhelming love like no other and we must remember that he is the only one who has set us free from bondage and redeemed us from sin. By his blood, we have the precious love of Jesus that takes us through daily and will take us into eternity with him. May you have a blessed week filled with peace, hope, and love much even when it hearts.

"We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them." [I John 4:16 N.L.T.]
