Today, we celebrate Palm Sunday and Communion for the first Sunday in April. This is an unusual time in our history because never before have we seen such oppression, isolation, sickness, shocking sudden deaths of people we know, economic hardships, medical attention being changed from the way we are used to, Churches being ordered to close, hoarding, businesses closing, high rise in unemployment, and so many other things that are adversely impacting the lives of people in America. Despite all of these strange and uncomfortable circumstances, we must remember that JESUS is interceding on our behalf and He is our source of deliverance from all evil.
Jesus was taking his last ride into the city when the crowd gathered to honor him by calling out "Hosanna:" BLESSED IS THE KING OF ISRAEL THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD." Not long after this, these same people would cry out "Crucify Him" and give us Barabbas - a thief and murderer instead of the King of The Jews who had healed many of them in the crowd. We are living witnesses of watching persecution in this country upon Pastors who are defying the law of man to shut down Churches by using the "coronavirus" as the reason.
There is much more to what is going on than is obvious to the natural eye, but when we look through the lens of a spiritual eye; we will be able to see quite clearly the truth of the times drawing closer to the end of this world. There is a hovering of darkness that is trying to penetrate the lights of the world and we must take care not to become overwhelmed by what we are experiencing; rather, we must keep the Faith and Hope in Jesus Christ, the only one who can save us.
May we continue to look upward to receive the Risen King Jesus in all of His Glory when He plants His feet on Mt. of Olives and comes back as the Bridegroom to gather His people. This will be a final triumph for all of those whose names are written in "The Lambs Book of Life." May we magnify The LORD and Rejoice on this Palm Sunday by Waving our Palms, Shouting unto The LORD, and Clapping our hands to confuse the devil to let him know that despite his threats, the pandemic, and economic collapse, we will Bless the Name of The LORD on this day in the Year of Our Lord and Savior - April 5, 2020.
May you have a Blessed, Safe, and Healthy Week. Remember to use Wisdom in your travels when you are around multiple people. God Bless you always.
Love,
Apostle Kindell
