Moving Forward

We cannot get back to where we were before the pandemic, nor can we change what has transpired over the course of 2020. So many uncomfortable situations have and continue to occur each day. We watch as a new chapter unfolds each day as we become a part of the inevitable changes in history. There are changes all around us and although some may prefer to go back to the way things were before coronavirus; we may find ourselves living in an environment wearing masks and practicing "social distancing" long term. Were things really better or more of the same with some adjustments? A personal answer individually for how we perceive the situation at this appointed time.

Over time we experience many situations that cannot be changed back; therefore, give yourself permission to embrace what is and find ways to impart positive influences through your daily walk. Calling on the Name of JESUS always makes a difference and changes the atmosphere when negativity tries to disrupt our purpose. When putting everything into perspective, often we realize that what we had before may not have been the best for us. Take some time to look around, thank The LORD for all that you have, and appreciate the little things in life that too often are taken for granted. A new awareness brings about re-examining priorities and becoming spiritually realigned.

Despite opposition that some may have toward moving forward, I pray that these months of uncertainty that we have experienced collectively will bring about more tolerance for each other. As I take walks and look into the eyes of those coming towards me, I see people who are sharing the same ground and outdoor space as myself. We must find a way to shake off the distasteful events that have happened over these last seven months. Remember that our one advantage to surviving while moving forward is JESUS CHRIST, our intercessor. With Him on our side, we have GRACE and MERCY that keeps us moving forward while mending from the bumps along the way. Together, we will get through these changing times as we prepare ourselves for accepting whatever comes our way. JESUS is the one we can put our trust in no matter where we go from here. May you have a Blessed week and have an abundance in excellent mental and physical health.

Love-in-Christ, Apostle Joni A. Kindell

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

[Philippians 3:13-14]

Scriptures for reflection and encouragement: Job 14:14; Psalm 119; Isaiah 43; Romans 10, I Corinthians: Chapters 14 and 15, Hebrews 10
