When A Measuring Line is Made by God

We have been given a revelation of God's plans for all humanity when he returns for a final gathering. In a previous sermonic message, we experienced the prophecy of Jeremiah (31:21; 31-40) and Zechariah (2:1; 10-13) when each of them had a Divine encounter of a "measuring line." "I LIFTED up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand." [Zechariah 2:1] God has made a new covenant with Israel and they are His chosen people who have been recovered from captivity. When Jesus came to fulfill the prophecy spoken of in Isaiah 9:6-7 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it...The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." This prophecy covers every nation and mankind of the world and is open to everyone who wants to partake in living in the Kingdom that is to come.

Every Book of The Bible is self-fulfilling prophecy before our eyes and is still relevant in this present time. The measuring line includes not only Israel, but every nation and every person who trusts in The LORD by Faith to receive Him as the resurrected and living Savior. The hand of God is stretching out over all of the earth and over all of the celestial and terrestrial beyond that which is not seen by the visible eye; only by the timeless God who is restoring the line that many have tried to sever. Nothing can thwart what was put into place before time was time and because we are getting closer to the finish line; my prayer is that everyone will get lined up in the spirit to receive what is to come soon - JESUS who has a Kingdom without end.

The symbolism throughout Jeremiah and Zechariah as pertains to the measuring line gives us hope as a reminder that there are "guide posts and landmarks" set in place by God to get those who have backslidden to find their way back to him. The hand of God has been extended and is endless through JESUS. Therefore, the acceptance of Jesus brings: 1) Redemption; 2) Restoration - built up from those who have been torn down, mishandled, and misguided; 3) Light from darkness; and Salvation to make men free from sin where condemnation no longer resides. My prayer is that everyone will acknowledge that Jesus is the only way maker to guide and direct to keep us on a pathway with a line that will not alter purpose, plan, nor our predestine appointment that leads straight to a heavenly home. Jesus is our life-line and he will pick us up when we fall out of line; keep your eyes on him because he holds the keys to the victory that was won on the Cross. May we open our hearts and spiritual eyes and ears to hear what the Spirit is speaking. Help others who do not know Jesus to accept his invitation to be in the line when names are called to join Him when He returns for his people. "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." [Revelation 22:17]

May the Peace of God find you in line with Him as you receive His love and abundance of Blessings awaiting His children. Love-in-Christ, Dr. Joni A. Kindell, An Apostle in the Will of God
